Refund & Return Policy

Aria Visual Art Return Policy - Online Purchases

This return policy specifically pertains to retail purchases and does not apply to Invoice Contract, event, reseller, or commission transactions.

Aria Visual Art is dedicated to providing the highest quality artwork. Each piece is meticulously prepared for shipping by a professional packing and shipping service. Furthermore, all artworks are insured for the purchase price and require a Direct Signature upon delivery. It is paramount that purchasers conduct a thorough and diligent inspection of their artwork immediately upon receipt. This crucial step not only ensures the integrity of the purchase but also provides an opportunity to address any concerns or discrepancies in a timely manner. We strongly urge purchasers to prioritize this inspection process to guarantee their complete satisfaction with the artwork.

Cancellation Refund Request:

In line with the nature of online sales and our swift fulfilment process, and given that each artwork is one-of-a-kind and promptly removed from online listings upon purchase, coupled with the immediate custom crating supplies required, we regretfully cannot accommodate cancellation requests. Should this policy conflict with any state or national law, any request for cancellation and refund will be treated as a Satisfaction Refund Request.

At Aria Visual Art, we pride ourselves on offering unique, one-of-a-kind artworks. Detailed high-resolution images and concise descriptions are provided online to empower purchasers to make well-informed buying decisions. However, should a purchaser find themselves unsatisfied with their Aria Visual Art piece, they may, in most cases, return it within 5 days of receipt for a refund of the purchase cost, subject to the following conditions:

  1. The artwork must remain unused, undamaged, and returned in its original condition and packaging.

  2. Shipping and handling charges, duties, and brokerage fees are non-refundable.

  3. For UK purchases, shipping and packaging are included. Therefore, a 20% deduction applies from the original purchase price to account for potential losses in shipping and packaging expenses.

  4. The purchaser is responsible for covering the cost of return shipping.

  5. The returned artwork must be insured for its original sales price.

  6. Prior to return, the purchaser must request a Return Authorization by contacting our team at [ariavisualart@gmail.com]. No refund, credit, or return will be accepted or processed without an Return Authorization. Upon receipt of the Return Authorization request, Aria Visual Art will provide further instructions.

  7. Aria Visual Art reserves the right to decline a refund for artwork damaged during return transit.

In the unfortunate event that an artwork sustains damage during transit, Aria Visual Art assumes responsibility for the sole costs incurred by the purchaser, including the original shipping and handling fees paid to Aria Visual Art. The following conditions apply

  1. The purchaser must ensure that any damage to the shipping container is noted by the delivery person before signing for delivery.

  2. If there is evidence of damage to the shipping container, the purchaser should request the delivery person to witness the inspection of container contents, including the artwork and packaging elements.

  3. Any claimed damage must be substantiated by reliable evidence and Carrier investigation to have occurred during transit.

  4. Aria Visual Art upholds accountability for any damage incurred, irrespective of carrier reimbursement, thereby affirming our dedication to customer service and alleviating purchasers of unwarranted liabilities stemming from packaging deficiencies.

  5. The purchaser must notify Aria Visual Art of any damage immediately upon delivery and inspection, within 24 hours, in writing. This notification should include an explanation of the damage and the receiving and inspection process, along with attached photos documenting the claimed damage.

  6. Prior to returning the artwork, the purchaser must request a Return Authorization. No refund, credit, or return will be accepted or processed without an Return Authorization. To notify Aria Visual Art of a Damaged in Transit Refund Request and request an Return Authorization, please email [ariavisualart@gmail.com]. Upon receipt of the notice, Aria Visual Art and/or the carrier will provide further instructions. Failure to notify Aria Visual Art of claimed damage within 24 hours of delivery will absolve Aria Visual Art of responsibility, and the purchaser and/or carrier will bear full responsibility for the damage.

  7. The purchaser must retain all original packing materials.

  8. The artwork must be shipped back via a commercial carrier.

  9. The returned artwork must be insured for its original sales price.

  10. The purchaser is responsible for the return shipping cost. 

  11. Claim Determination: If the damage claim is approved, a refund of the costs actually paid by the purchaser to Aria Visual Art for the artwork and original shipping and handling will be credited to the original method of payment. If the claim is denied, the purchaser will not receive a refund, and the artwork will be stored in its original packaging, available for the purchaser to arrange for shipping or pick up for up to 90 days.

Failure to Accept Delivery:

  1. If the Purchaser fails to accept delivery, they will not be eligible for a refund.

  2. If the carrier's policy mandates the automatic return of a package to the sender, the Purchaser is responsible for the return shipping charges imposed on Aria Visual Art. The Purchaser must promptly reimburse Aria Visual Art for these return shipping charges.

  3. In the event that a financial transaction merchant or company reverses a charge for the Purchaser due to failure to accept delivery, resulting in the reversal of all or part of the original payment for the artwork and/or shipping & handling costs from Aria Visual Art's account:

             a. The Purchaser agrees to a 30% restocking fee and must promptly pay this fee to Aria Visual Art, unless it has been satisfied by a partial reverse charge.

             b. The Purchaser is responsible for the total original shipping & handling charges and must promptly reimburse Aria Visual Art for any shipping & handling costs that were not paid, unless they have been satisfied by a partial reverse charge.

Return Authorization section:

  1. Upon meeting the conditions outlined above, an Return Authorization will be promptly issued.

  2. Please note that all returns require an Return Authorization. Refunds, credits, or returns will not be accepted or processed without a valid RMA.

  3. It's important to understand that a Return Authorization does not automatically approve a refund request. Instead, it serves as authorization to return the artwork for claim evaluation and determination.

  4. The Return Authorization will contain detailed instructions on the process and timeline for returning the artwork. Additionally, it will provide further guidance on the inspection, verification, and refund request determination procedure.
